JOB DESCRIPTION: STORES MANAGER (WAREHOUSE) – FULL-TIME

Position Overview

Pizzaman Chickenman seeks a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Stores Manager (Warehouse) to oversee end-to-end inventory operations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate stock management, efficient warehouse processes, and strict compliance with food safety and storage standards.

This role requires strong leadership, inventory control expertise, and the ability to manage perishable goods in a fast-paced FMCG environment.


Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Manage full warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records at all times.
  • Conduct regular stock counts, audits, and reconciliations to prevent shortages, overstocking, or expiries.
  • Implement effective stock control systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Stock Control & Compliance

  • Enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and other inventory control methods.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and storage standards.
  • Monitor and minimize waste, spoilage, and stock losses.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and guide warehouse/store staff in daily operations.
  • Train team members on inventory systems, safety procedures, and best practices for handling perishable goods.
  • Promote discipline, accountability, and efficiency within the stores team.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Generate regular reports on stock levels, usage trends, and inventory variances.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and HR teams for accurate forecasting and stock planning.
  • Support operational decision-making through timely and accurate inventory data.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse or stores management, preferably in FMCG or food and beverage industry.
  • Strong proficiency in inventory management systems (ERP systems preferred).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Understanding of Ghanaian import/export or supply chain processes is an advantage.
