Key Responsibilities
Territory & Sales Management
- Develop periodic plans for your territory with clear KPIs to drive performance.
- Execute the sales and marketing plan for the territory as agreed with the Branch Manager.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales forecasts for the assigned territory.
- Monitor distributor turnover and stock levels to ensure availability of all SKUs.
- Develop and implement action plans when distributors fall short of monthly targets.
Distributor & Team Management
- Manage distributors effectively, ensuring optimal use of allocated resources.
- Provide guidance and performance feedback to the sales team and distributors.
- Develop and execute training plans in collaboration with the Region Training Manager.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching and feedback.
Market Analysis & Supervision
- Conduct market supervision, including price checks, competitor analysis, and tracking developments affecting the business.
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute and monitor territory-specific activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive product delivery and loyalty.
Job Requirements
- Minimum HND with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong territory management skills, including customer/outlet mapping, route planning, volume planning, and market analysis.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and computing skills.
- Proficiency in information tracking, sales analytics, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to use smartphones and digital tools effectively.
- Demonstrated self-confidence and effective decision-making skills.
