Key Responsibilities

Territory & Sales Management

  • Develop periodic plans for your territory with clear KPIs to drive performance.
  • Execute the sales and marketing plan for the territory as agreed with the Branch Manager.
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales forecasts for the assigned territory.
  • Monitor distributor turnover and stock levels to ensure availability of all SKUs.
  • Develop and implement action plans when distributors fall short of monthly targets.

Distributor & Team Management

  • Manage distributors effectively, ensuring optimal use of allocated resources.
  • Provide guidance and performance feedback to the sales team and distributors.
  • Develop and execute training plans in collaboration with the Region Training Manager.
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching and feedback.

Market Analysis & Supervision

  • Conduct market supervision, including price checks, competitor analysis, and tracking developments affecting the business.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to execute and monitor territory-specific activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive product delivery and loyalty.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum HND with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong territory management skills, including customer/outlet mapping, route planning, volume planning, and market analysis.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and computing skills.
  • Proficiency in information tracking, sales analytics, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to use smartphones and digital tools effectively.
  • Demonstrated self-confidence and effective decision-making skills.
