Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant M&E and Field Support Officer to strengthen our monitoring and evaluation systems and support field implementation. The successful candidate will actively contribute to data-driven decision-making and ensure the effective tracking of project outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks for development projects
  • Develop and apply data collection tools, methodologies, and strategies
  • Collect, verify, and analyze field data to measure project performance and impact
  • Provide technical support to field teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Assist in preparing high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor project indicators and recommend improvements based on findings
  • Conduct field visits to ensure compliance with project plans and standards
  • Collaborate with project teams to strengthen learning and adaptive management

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in:
    • Rural Development
    • Rural Sociology
    • Agriculture
    • Forestry
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) within development projects
  • Proven experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and data management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and rural communities
  • Good communication and organizational skills
