Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Bakery Sales Manager to lead sales efforts and drive growth in bakery ingredient products. The ideal candidate combines strong industry knowledge with practical hands-on bakery experience, delivering results that inspire confidence and demonstrate expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sales initiatives for bakery ingredient products and drive business growth.
• Conduct side-by-side bakery tests, comparing loaf volume, crumb structure, and overall product quality.
• Provide technical guidance and demonstrations to clients to convince through results.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering solutions.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize product offerings and sales performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree or HND in Food Science, Food Technology, or Business (equivalent experience in bakery product sales accepted).
• Extensive bakery industry experience; practical expertise is prioritized over formal education.
• Proven ability to conduct bakery tests, analyze results, and present findings convincingly.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
