Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Business Developer to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and strengthen our market presence in Ghana. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and position HR Leverage Africa as a trusted partner for HR solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Present and promote HR Leverage Africa’s services, including outsourcing, payroll, EOR, and staffing solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM tools.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • A postgraduate degree or professional certification in Sales, Marketing, or HR is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within an HR consulting, professional services, or B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and growing a client portfolio.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of HR services (outsourcing, payroll, EOR, staffing) is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior executives confidently.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities across diverse business environments.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinking with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
  • Strong understanding of Ghana’s business landscape and key industries.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, employment regulations in Ghana, and HR outsourcing models is an added advantage.
