Job Summary

Passion Air is seeking experienced and safety-focused Captains (Pilot-in-Command) to operate its Dash 8 Q400 / Q300 aircraft on domestic and regional routes. The successful candidate will have full command responsibility for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the safety and operation of the aircraft, crew, passengers, and cargo.
• Operate flights in full compliance with the Rules of the Air, Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) regulations, company SOPs, and Air Traffic Control instructions.
• Exercise final authority and command over the aircraft during all phases of flight.
• Conduct pre-flight planning, briefings, and post-flight reporting in line with company procedures.
• Ensure all flight documentation, checklists, and safety procedures are properly completed.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture within the flight crew.
• Report technical issues, incidents, and safety concerns in accordance with company policies.
• Requirements & Qualifications
• Valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License).
• Current Type Rating on Dash 8 Q400 or Q300.
• Valid Radio Telephony License.
• Valid Instrument Rating.
• Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4.
• Total Flight Time: Minimum of 3,000 hours.
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: Minimum of 1,000 hours.
• Multi-Engine Flight Time: Minimum of 2,000 hours.
• Total Time on Type: Minimum of 150 hours.
• Medically fit and able to meet GCAA Class 1 medical requirements.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
