Role Purpose

The Reservations & Ticketing Executive will manage travel reservations, ticketing operations, and customer service support while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional client experience. The successful candidate will utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to process bookings, support travel arrangements, and maintain high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle domestic and international flight reservations, ticketing, reissues, cancellations, and itinerary changes.
  • Operate Amadeus and other GDS platforms efficiently to process travel bookings and customer requests.
  • Provide professional travel advice and respond promptly to customer enquiries.
  • Ensure accurate fare quotations, ticket issuance, and booking documentation.
  • Verify travel schedules, fare rules, visa requirements, and airline policies to support seamless travel arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and reservation data within the booking systems.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate with airlines, travel partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth travel operations.
  • Monitor booking deadlines, ticketing timelines, and operational updates to avoid service disruptions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Educational Qualification

  • Degree or Diploma in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum of three (3) to four (4) years’ relevant experience in reservations and ticketing operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Amadeus and other Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations and ticketing processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
  • Good problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems.
  • Strong understanding of airline ticketing procedures, fare structures, and travel regulations.
