Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Finance Officer to lead the financial management function of the organization. The successful candidate will provide executive leadership in financial planning, reporting, compliance, and donor fund management, while ensuring strong financial stewardship and alignment with DTI’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall financial strategy, planning, and management of the organization
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance processes
• Manage donor funds and ensure accurate reporting in line with donor and regulatory requirements
• Strengthen internal financial controls and risk management systems
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership and the executive team
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports
• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and accountability
• Support audit processes and ensure full regulatory compliance
• Drive financial sustainability and efficiency across all operations

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional certification (ACCA, CA, or CIMA) is required
• Minimum of 15 years’ progressive experience in finance, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong expertise in financial management, reporting, and donor fund management
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• High level of integrity and alignment with organizational mission and values
