Sales Manager

Location: Accra
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and managing client relationships within the construction and civil works industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and civil works sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and industry stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales agreements effectively.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management review.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field is preferred.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 6–10 years of proven experience in selling civil works or construction-related products and services.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship management and business development abilities.
  • Strong understanding of the construction and infrastructure industry.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools is an advantage.
