Role Overview

Amalitech is seeking a passionate and organized Community Development Assistant (NSS) to support the planning and delivery of community-based digital programs. The successful candidate will contribute to impactful initiatives, engage with stakeholders, and support programme coordination, monitoring, and communications.


Key Responsibilities

Programmer Coordination & Implementation

  • Support the planning and execution of coding competitions, exhibitions, boot-camps, and outreach events
  • Assist in coordinating programme activities to ensure smooth delivery

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

  • Collect and compile programme data, including attendance, assessments, and participant feedback
  • Support reporting processes to track programme impact and effectiveness

Stakeholder & Partner Engagement

  • Assist in engaging with schools, teachers, parents, and volunteers
  • Support communication and coordination with programme partners

Communications & Content Support

  • Assist in developing social media content and storytelling materials
  • Contribute to documenting programme impact and success stories

Administrative Support

  • Maintain proper documentation, records, and filing systems
  • Provide general administrative support to the programme team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Must be eligible for National Service for the 2026/2027 service year
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of digital tools or programming (e.g., Scratch, HTML, Python) is an advantage
  • Demonstrated passion for youth development and digital inclusion
