Key Responsibilities

As a Fleet Manager, you will:

  • Manage day-to-day fleet operations, including trucks, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Improve fleet utilization, route planning, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, and workshop performance to ensure fleet reliability.
  • Drive safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and driver training programmes.
  • Monitor and optimize fleet-related costs to improve profitability.
  • Develop reporting systems, track KPIs, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead and supervise drivers, workshop teams, and support staff to ensure high performance.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fleet or transport management.
  • Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience managing drivers and technical teams.
  • Strong technical understanding of vehicles, maintenance, and workshop operations.
  • Experience with fleet management systems, vehicle tracking, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to introduce structure, improve processes, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Comfortable working in a rural and highly operational environment.
