We are seeking skilled and passionate Cooks to join our culinary team and contribute to the preparation of high-quality meals for our guests.

This role is ideal for culinary professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in food preparation, and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation and Production

  • Prepare, cook, and present meals according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
  • Assist in the preparation of menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and special events.
  • Monitor food quality and ensure all dishes meet guest expectations.

Kitchen Operations

  • Maintain an organized and efficient workstation.
  • Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals during service periods.
  • Support senior kitchen staff in daily kitchen operations.
  • Assist with food preparation planning and ingredient preparation.

Food Safety and Hygiene

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of food products.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.

Inventory and Stock Control

  • Assist with receiving, storing, and monitoring kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Minimize food waste through efficient preparation and portion control.
  • Report stock shortages and quality concerns to supervisors.
  • Support inventory checks and stock rotation processes.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with chefs, kitchen assistants, and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute positively to a professional and team-oriented kitchen environment.
  • Support colleagues during busy service periods to maintain operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • HND or higher qualification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a Cook in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet service deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
