We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Courier Growth Associate (Acquisition, Engagement & Retention) to support the growth and sustainability of our courier network through strategic recruitment, territory management, engagement initiatives, and retention programs.

Role Overview

As a Courier Growth Associate, you will play a key role in expanding and strengthening WeGoo’s courier network. You will recruit and onboard qualified courier partners, manage territory coverage, support engagement initiatives, and implement strategies that improve retention and operational performance.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy field operations, community engagement, recruitment, business development, and building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Courier Acquisition & Recruitment

You will:

  • Plan and execute courier recruitment campaigns within assigned territories.
  • Identify, attract, and onboard qualified courier partners to meet operational demand.
  • Build strategic relationships with rider communities, referral networks, local associations, and other sourcing channels.
  • Conduct screening, interviews, assessments, and selection activities for prospective couriers.
  • Maintain a robust recruitment pipeline and database of potential courier partners.
  • Ensure recruitment targets are achieved in line with business growth objectives.

Territory Management

You will:

  • Manage courier supply coverage across assigned territories to maintain operational readiness.
  • Monitor courier headcount, availability, and activation levels.
  • Analyze territory performance and identify opportunities to improve courier penetration and service coverage.
  • Support the achievement of territory growth and supply targets.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize courier deployment and territory performance.

Courier Engagement & Retention

You will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with active courier partners.
  • Organize engagement forums, orientation sessions, field meetings, and community-building activities.
  • Support retention initiatives designed to reduce courier attrition and improve satisfaction.
  • Address courier concerns and provide timely solutions to operational challenges.
  • Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Foster a positive and supportive courier experience that encourages long-term participation.

Field Operations Support

You will:

  • Conduct regular field visits to assess courier performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Investigate and resolve courier-related operational issues within assigned territories.
  • Monitor courier attendance, activity levels, and service availability.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to address service gaps and improve delivery efficiency.
  • Support initiatives that enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

You will:

  • Track courier acquisition, onboarding, activation, engagement, and retention metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports on recruitment performance, territory coverage, and courier productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of onboarding, engagement, and operational activities.
  • Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to improve courier growth strategies.
  • Support management with data-driven recommendations and operational updates.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

You should possess an HND, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent qualification in:

  • Business Administration
  • Marketing
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Operations Management
  • Or a related field

Experience

You should have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Sales and Business Development
  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
  • Field Operations
  • Logistics and Delivery Operations
  • Territory Management
  • Customer Acquisition
  • Community Engagement

Experience within logistics, ride-hailing, e-commerce, courier services, transportation, gig-economy platforms, or related industries will be an added advantage.

  • Knowledge of courier, fleet, or logistics operations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Compliance with recruitment, onboarding, and operational standards.
  • Contribution to overall courier network growth and performance.

Working Environment

This role requires a combination of office-based and field-based activities. Successful candidates should be comfortable:

  • Conducting regular field visits within assigned territories.
  • Engaging frequently with courier communities and operational teams.
  • Travelling within designated locations as required.
  • Working flexible hours to support operational and recruitment activities when necessary.
