Position Summary

KUO Fire Safety Ltd is seeking a responsible, safety-conscious, and reliable Driver to support the company’s daily operations. The successful candidate will safely transport staff, equipment, and materials while ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle standards, and providing professional service to clients and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent driving skills, strong knowledge of Accra routes, and a commitment to safety, punctuality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport company staff, equipment, tools, and materials to assigned locations.
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of items according to operational schedules.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report faults, damages, or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles.
• Perform routine vehicle checks, including fluid levels, tires, brakes, and other basic maintenance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance activities.
• Comply with all road traffic regulations, company driving policies, and safety procedures.
• Practice safe and defensive driving at all times.
• Provide professional, courteous, and respectful service when interacting with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Support loading and unloading of equipment and materials where required.
• Report accidents, incidents, or vehicle-related concerns promptly.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum of Senior High School (SHS) Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Ghanaian Driver’s Licence with the appropriate class required for the role.

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional driver.
• Strong knowledge of roads, routes, and traffic conditions within Accra.
• Experience driving company vehicles and handling business-related transportation responsibilities is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
• Must reside in Accra, with candidates from Spintex and surrounding areas preferred.
