We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team and provide effective supervision, technical support, and leadership in electrical maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.

Position Overview

The Electrical Supervisor will oversee electrical maintenance activities, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and support the reliability and availability of electrical infrastructure and equipment. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance to maintenance teams, improve work execution processes, and maintain high operational standards across the site.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Supervisor will:

• Ensure compliance with the highest safety standards, including OSHAS 18001, ISO 14001 environmental management requirements, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Generate, issue, and control daily job cards for electrical maintenance activities.
• Ensure critical electrical spare parts are maintained within required stock levels.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all electrical maintenance activities.
• Identify recurring tasks and develop appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve work quality and consistency.
• Ensure safe work execution through proper implementation of Task Instructions, Permit-to-Work systems, Task Risk Assessments, and Toolbox Talks.
• Ensure electrical infrastructure and equipment are maintained according to required standards to achieve reliability and uptime Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to support operational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and mining regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A minimum of a Degree or HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• At least five (5) years of practical electrical engineering experience in a mining or related industrial environment.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Practical experience with Medium Voltage (MV) switching and strong technical capability in working with MV motors.
• Experience with process heating systems, including kilns and ovens.
• Strong understanding of plant operations, process control systems, and workplace safety requirements.
• Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
