Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor – Process Plant to lead electrical maintenance activities at our Bibiani operations. You will oversee plant electrical systems, ensure optimal equipment performance, and drive maintenance excellence in a fast-paced mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities within the process plant
• Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all electrical systems and equipment
• Lead troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of plant electrical faults
• Manage maintenance schedules, shutdowns, and project execution
• Oversee refurbishment and upgrade projects for plant infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve operational targets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience as an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, preferably within a metallurgical or mineral processing plant
• Valid Inspecting Engineer’s Certificate of Competency issued by the Minerals Commission of Ghana
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical maintenance within mining or extractive metallurgy environments
• Advanced knowledge of motor starters including Direct-On-Line (DOL), Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), Soft Starters, and Liquid Resistance Starters
• Proven experience in maintenance and project management of processing plant infrastructure, including refurbishment and upgrades
• Working knowledge of standardized work systems and asset management practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong results-driven mindset with focus on innovation and continuous improvement
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment with professionalism and respect
• High level of discipline, reliability, and resilience in demanding operational settings
• Strong team player with a collaborative approach
