Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and support the holistic development of students. The successful candidate will foster a positive classroom environment, encourage student growth, and actively contribute to the school community.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction and Lesson Planning

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Maple Bear curriculum
• Use diverse teaching strategies to meet the learning needs of all students

Classroom Management

• Maintain a positive, orderly, and safe classroom environment
• Implement classroom rules and promote respectful behavior among students

Student Assessment and Feedback

• Evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and classroom observations
• Provide constructive feedback to support academic improvement

Individual Support and Mentorship

• Identify students’ individual learning needs and provide additional support as required
• Foster students’ social and emotional development alongside academic growth

Communication with Parents and Guardians

• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and concerns
• Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings and school events

Professional Development

• Stay current with best practices in elementary education
• Apply innovative teaching techniques in the classroom
• Attend workshops, training sessions, and staff meetings

School Duties and Extracurricular Activities

• Supervise students during meals, recess, and field trips to ensure safety
• Lead or support school clubs, activities, and events to promote holistic learning

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification and license
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for child-centered learning
