Job Summary

Heath Goldfields Ltd seeks a dedicated and compassionate Employee Assistance and Well-being Officer to provide confidential counseling, psychosocial support, and wellness services to employees on site. The successful candidate will coordinate well-being initiatives, conduct health promotion campaigns, and collaborate with management to foster a healthy and productive workforce.

This role requires a professional who can balance empathy, confidentiality, and proactive health interventions to enhance employee wellbeing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential counseling and psychosocial support to employees on site
  • Coordinate, implement, and evaluate wellness programs and mental health initiatives
  • Conduct health promotion, preventive health, and awareness campaigns
  • Liaise with the Medical Service Manager on employee wellbeing matters
  • Monitor and report on employee wellness metrics and initiatives
  • Support the development of workplace policies related to mental health and employee wellbeing

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Health, Public Health, or a related health field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in occupational health, counseling, or employee wellbeing services
  • Training in basic counseling or psychosocial support
  • Strong ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality
