We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations and elevate our food offerings to the highest standard.

This role is ideal for a passionate culinary leader who combines creativity with strong operational discipline and the ability to manage a high-performing kitchen team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary Leadership

• Lead and oversee all kitchen operations across breakfast, lunch, dinner, banqueting, and special events.
• Design and execute innovative, high-quality menus aligned with the hotel’s brand and guest expectations.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards across all dishes served.
• Maintain full control of kitchen workflow, efficiency, and service timing.

Kitchen Management

• Supervise, train, and develop kitchen staff, including sous chefs, cooks, and stewards.
• Allocate duties and ensure effective coordination across all kitchen sections.
• Conduct regular kitchen briefings and performance reviews.
• Foster a disciplined, motivated, and high-performance kitchen culture.

Food Quality, Safety & Hygiene

• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor food storage, preparation, cooking temperatures, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Enforce health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain an audit-ready kitchen environment.

Cost Control & Inventory Management

• Manage food cost, portion control, wastage, and kitchen efficiency.
• Oversee stock ordering, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
• Monitor kitchen budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Implement strategies to maximize profitability without compromising quality.

Collaboration & Guest Experience

• Work closely with restaurant managers and service teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Respond to guest feedback and adjust offerings where necessary.
• Contribute to menu planning based on guest preferences and market trends.
• Support special events, banquets, and VIP functions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• HND or higher qualification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a senior kitchen role (Executive Chef, Head Chef, or Sous Chef).
• Strong knowledge of international and local cuisine.
• Proven leadership experience managing kitchen teams in a hotel or high-volume restaurant.
• Strong understanding of food costing, inventory control, and kitchen budgeting.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• High standards of professionalism, discipline, and creativity.
