Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Fibre Optic Technician to join our team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot fibre optic networks while ensuring high-quality service delivery. You will work in dynamic environments and contribute directly to expanding reliable connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain fibre optic cables and related network systems.
• Execute FTTH (Fiber to the Home) deployment projects effectively.
• Perform fibre splicing, termination, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and maintain network performance to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety procedures while working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification.

Educational & Experience Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in fibre optic deployment, installation, or maintenance.
• Strong understanding of fibre optic technology and network architecture.
• Relevant certification or qualification (Degree/Diploma in Fibre Optics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field).
• Proven experience in FTTH deployment is an advantage.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
