Role Purpose

The Finance Analyst will lead critical financial reporting, accounting, and reconciliation activities while ensuring full compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls. The role requires strong analytical capability, ERP expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, AASB, or GAAP standards.

  • Execute timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Prepare general ledger entries, journal postings, and detailed account reconciliations.

  • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding promptly to audit queries.

Inventory & ERP Month-End Activities

  • Process month-end close activities within the ERP system.

  • Run and validate financial and inventory reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Ensure all system interfaces are complete and free of errors.

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory-related variances.

Accounts Payable (AP) Management

  • Execute month-end close activities for Accounts Payable in the ERP system.

  • Prepare and review monthly AP Sub-Ledger to General Ledger reconciliations.

  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances in a timely manner.

  • Strengthen financial controls to maintain accuracy and mitigate risk.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Professional certification preferred (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis roles.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.

  • Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
