Job Summary

SmithField Agribusiness seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow while strengthening internal controls and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting functions.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.
• Implement and maintain strong financial controls and risk management systems.
• Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies as required.
• Support management in evaluating business performance and investment decisions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, ICA, CIMA) or part-qualified preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Experience in SME, agribusiness, manufacturing, or logistics sectors is preferred.
