Job Summary

The Food & Beverage Supervisor oversees daily restaurant and bar operations while ensuring exceptional service delivery and a welcoming dining environment. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage service operations
  • Lead, train, and motivate service staff to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ensure a warm, welcoming, and professional dining experience for all guests
  • Monitor service standards and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient service flow
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate shift coverage
  • Monitor inventory levels and support stock control processes
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Assist in achieving sales targets and improving overall service performance

Qualifications and Requirements

  • HND, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in food and beverage service, with supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Good understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
