Job Summary

The Waiter/Waitress provides excellent food and beverage service to guests while creating a warm and welcoming dining environment. The role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver efficient and courteous service in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus in a professional manner
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen promptly
• Serve meals and drinks efficiently while maintaining high service standards
• Ensure tables are clean, well-arranged, and properly set at all times
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and courteously
• Process bills and handle payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations
• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards

Qualifications and Requirements

• HND, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team player with a positive and professional attitude
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
