Role Overview

We are seeking five (5) experienced Forklift Operators to support safe and efficient freight handling operations at our Tema logistics and railway terminals. In this role, you will ensure the secure movement, stacking, loading, and unloading of goods while maintaining strict safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

You will operate forklifts and support freight operations with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency:

• Cargo Handling: Manage the loading, offloading, and safe handling of cargo, pallets, and freight materials.
• Material Movement: Operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize goods within terminals and railway stations safely and efficiently.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all operational safety procedures and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards at all times.
• Equipment Inspection: Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any faults or maintenance needs promptly.
• Operational Logging: Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, cargo movement, and daily operational activities.
• Workspace Organization: Support orderly arrangement of goods to ensure efficient terminal operations and space utilization.

Qualification & Experience

• Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification (Class F) is required.
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in logistics, port operations, warehousing, or railway freight handling.
• Physically fit with the ability to work in active operational environments.
• Strong commitment to safety, discipline, and operational accuracy.
