Position Summary
ShaQ Express is seeking proactive, organized, and detail-oriented National Service Personnel to join its Fleet Operations team. The successful candidate will support the efficient management of the company’s fleet by coordinating vehicle and rider assignments, maintaining fleet records, monitoring maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards.

This role offers valuable hands-on experience in fleet management, transportation operations, logistics coordination, and asset administration within a dynamic logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records for riders, drivers, vehicles, and motorbikes.
- Coordinate daily vehicle, motorbike, and rider allocations to support operational requirements.
- Monitor vehicle and motorbike inspections and promptly report defects or maintenance needs.
- Track preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing of fleet assets.
- Record and monitor fuel usage and electric vehicle (EV) charging activities.
- Coordinate vehicle and motorbike repairs, servicing, and breakdown response with internal teams and external service providers.
- Maintain up-to-date fleet documentation, including insurance certificates, roadworthiness certificates, and registration records.
- Liaise with mechanics, workshops, and other approved service vendors to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
- Record accidents, safety incidents, and vehicle damage, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Prepare regular fleet performance reports covering vehicle availability, maintenance status, utilization, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Support initiatives that improve fleet reliability, safety, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company fleet policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Transport Management, Logistics, Fleet Management, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be eligible to undertake National Service for the 2026/2027 service year.
Experience & Qualifications
- Internship or practical experience in fleet operations, logistics, transportation, automotive services, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle and motorbike maintenance is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other digital productivity tools.
- Familiarity with fleet tracking systems, GPS technology, or asset management software is an added advantage.
- A valid driver’s or rider’s licence will be an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Full-time, on-site role based at assigned ShaQ Express locations.
- Work according to operational schedules and business requirements.
- Regular interaction with riders, drivers, mechanics, and service providers.
- Exposure to fleet operations in a fast-paced logistics environment..
