Job Title: Front Desk Officer / Receptionist

We are seeking a proactive and personable Front Desk Officer / Receptionist who will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all stakeholders.
Position Summary
The Front Desk Officer / Receptionist represents the image of the University and serves as the first point of contact for students, staff, parents, and visitors. The successful candidate will deliver excellent customer service, manage front desk operations efficiently, and maintain a professional and organized reception area.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome students, staff, parents, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
Serve as the first point of contact for all in-person and telephone enquiries.
Receive, screen, and direct calls and enquiries to the appropriate offices.
Provide accurate information about university programmers, departments, and procedures.
Maintain visitor logs and manage front desk documentation.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence promptly and professionally.
Support general administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure reception environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of BECE, WASSCE, or Senior High School Certificate.
Diploma or HND in Secretarial Studies, Office Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
At least one (1) year of relevant working experience, preferably in a tertiary institution or reputable organization.
Ability to read and write effectively.
Basic computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email applications.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
Exhibit strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
