Job Summary

The General Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the overall financial health of the resort. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who maintains strong financial controls and contributes to effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies or risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of accounting experience (hospitality industry experience preferred).
• Professional certification (e.g., ICA Ghana, ACCA, CPA) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
