Job Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all bar operations to ensure exceptional beverage service and guest experience.
Supervise bartenders and bar assistants, ensuring adherence to service standards, hygiene policies, and presentation guidelines.
Develop and maintain beverage menus, cocktail recipes, and signature drinks aligned with The Ceiba Restaurant’s premium brand.
Ensure strict compliance with the restaurant’s service standards, hygiene regulations, and responsible alcohol service policies.
Monitor bar inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate ordering to minimize shortages, wastage, and losses.
Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and daily bar sales reconciliation.
Conduct staff training on beverage preparation, service etiquette, product knowledge, and upselling techniques.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area at all times.
Support banquets, conferences, and special events with efficient beverage service and bar setup.
Address guest feedback and service issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Requirements
Professional certification or training in Bartending, Mixology, or Hospitality is an advantage.
Minimum 4–6 years of bartending experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or head barman role.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, beverage presentation, and bar operations.
Proven leadership and team management skills in fast-paced hospitality environments.
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Solid understanding of stock control, cash handling, and basic reporting.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
