Role Purpose

The Head of Quality Assurance will lead the organization’s quality management function, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, driving continuous improvement, and embedding a strong quality culture across all operations. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership in quality systems, manufacturing compliance, and operational excellence while influencing senior stakeholders and driving business impact through quality performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), ISO standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Oversee quality assurance processes across all manufacturing operations to ensure product consistency and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and operational performance.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with operations, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Translate technical quality data into actionable business insights and recommendations for leadership.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior management and engage effectively at board level where required.
• Develop and mentor quality teams to build technical capability and leadership strength.
• Monitor key quality metrics and ensure alignment with organisational performance objectives.
• Promote a strong culture of accountability, compliance, and operational excellence across the organisation.

Educational Qualification

• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and relevant industry standards.
• Good knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Certification in Quality Management (e.g. ISO 9001 or equivalent) is required.

• Proven experience in a quality management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams beyond direct reporting lines.
• Experience operating confidently at senior management level and engaging with executive leadership.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical quality issues into clear business impact and solutions.
• Strong experience in driving change and continuous improvement initiatives.
