Role Purpose

The Senior Sales Executive will drive revenue growth by developing and managing corporate, group, MICE, and events business for the hotel. The successful candidate will build strong client relationships, convert sales opportunities into confirmed business, and ensure exceptional service delivery aligned with the hotel’s commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of hotel rooms, conferences, banqueting, and event spaces to achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop and manage corporate, MICE, group, and travel trade accounts.
  • Prepare and present competitive proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
  • Negotiate rates and terms while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage end-to-end event coordination in collaboration with operations and banqueting teams.
  • Utilize Opera Sales & Catering (Opera S&C) for sales tracking, reporting, and client management.
  • Identify new business opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
  • Ensure smooth execution of group bookings and events, including rooming lists and logistics coordination.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for management review.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years’ experience in hotel sales, conference/events sales, group coordination, or banqueting operations.
  • Previous experience in an upscale or international-standard hotel environment is preferred.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Opera Sales & Catering (Opera S&C) is strictly required.
  • Strong understanding of MICE, corporate, and group business operations.
  • Excellent proposal writing, negotiation, and contract management skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
