Role Summary

The Heavy-Duty Truck (Trailer) Driver operates company trailers to ensure the safe, timely, and efficient delivery and distribution of products. You maintain high standards of road safety, vehicle care, and professionalism while representing the company on the road and at delivery points.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trailer trucks to transport products safely across assigned routes.
• Ensure timely delivery and compliance with all road transport regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report faults promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
• Observe strict road safety practices and promote safe driving at all times.
• Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers, clients, and the public.
• Work extended hours when operational demands require it.
• Support basic vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal truck performance.

• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Show strong observational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Apply excellent knowledge of road signs, traffic laws, and defensive driving practices.
• Maintain basic mechanical understanding of heavy-duty vehicles.
• Remain flexible to work overtime and irregular schedules when required.
• Act as a road safety champion in all driving operations.

Qualification and Experience

• Possess a valid Professional Driving License (Class F).
• Bring at least 4 years of proven experience in heavy-duty truck (trailer) driving.
• Demonstrate a clean driving record and strong safety compliance history.
