Position Summary

Kasapreko PLC is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations in Kumasi. The successful candidate will oversee inventory management, warehousing activities, distribution support, and team performance while ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational best practices. This role requires a strong leader who can optimize warehouse efficiency, maintain inventory accuracy, and support business objectives within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of products.
  • Develop and implement warehouse processes that improve productivity, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure proper inventory control procedures are maintained.
  • Supervise receiving, storage, dispatch, and stock reconciliation activities.
  • Prepare operational and management reports on warehouse performance and inventory status.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, logistics, and other departments to support business operations.
  • Manage and develop warehouse staff through coaching, performance management, and training initiatives.
  • Monitor warehouse costs and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
  • Maintain accurate records within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other inventory management platforms.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant warehousing experience.
  • At least five (5) years of management or supervisory experience within an FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, preferably SAP.
