The Role

The HR Supervisor supports the effective delivery of human resource operations by ensuring compliance, promoting employee engagement, and strengthening HR processes. This role works closely with management and staff to maintain a productive, fair, and well-structured work environment.

The successful candidate demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding HR best practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation using HRIS systems
  • Provide guidance on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with Ghana Labour Laws
  • Support performance management processes, including monitoring and documentation
  • Assist in handling employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Contribute to training and staff development initiatives
  • Prepare HR reports and support administrative HR functions

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field
  • Professional HR certification is an added advantage

Experience

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ post–National Service experience in Human Resource management

Technical Competencies

  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of Ghana Labour Laws
  • Good understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal, assertiveness, and diplomacy skills
  • Good emotional intelligence (EQ)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and dynamic environment
