Role Overview
The Human Resource Coordinator will support the effective delivery of HR operations within a dynamic mining environment. You will coordinate key HR processes, ensure compliance with labour regulations, and support the full employee lifecycle while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, and employee exits
- Support performance management processes, including evaluations and documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
- Assist in payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with relevant teams
- Ensure compliance with Ghana labour laws, particularly occupational health and employee welfare regulations
- Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems
- Liaise with employees and management to address HR-related inquiries
- Support training and development coordination activities
- Promote a safe, compliant, and people-focused work environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of a BSc in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences/Arts, or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably within mining or explosives operations
- Professional HR certification or training in HR/benefits administration is an advantage
- Strong understanding of HR management principles and employee lifecycle processes
- Knowledge of Ghana labour laws, particularly occupational health and employee welfare
- Proficiency in HR and payroll systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic abilities
