Position Overview
The Human Resource Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of human resource management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, HR administration, and compliance. The role requires a proactive leader who can partner with management to build an engaged workforce and implement HR initiatives that support business success.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resource Strategy and Leadership
- Lead and manage the Human Resource function in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide strategic HR advice and guidance to senior management on workforce planning and organisational development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen HR operations and employee experience.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process to attract and retain high-calibre talent.
- Develop effective recruitment strategies that support current and future workforce needs.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and probation processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Support employer branding initiatives to enhance the company’s ability to attract top talent.
Employee Relations and Engagement
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
- Build strong relationships with employees and management to promote collaboration and engagement.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and grievance management.
- Develop and implement employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives.
Performance Management and Talent Development
- Design, implement, and manage performance management systems and processes.
- Support managers in setting performance objectives, conducting appraisals, and managing employee performance.
- Develop employee development plans and succession planning initiatives.
- Identify learning and development needs and coordinate training programmes that enhance employee capability and organisational performance.
HR Operations and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and internal company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
- Manage HR administration processes efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor changes in employment legislation and recommend policy updates where necessary.
HR Reporting and Workforce Analytics
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support management decision-making.
- Monitor key HR metrics, including recruitment, retention, turnover, and employee performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations that improve workforce effectiveness and operational performance.
Organisational Development
- Promote the company’s values, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Support organisational change and transformation projects.
- Recommend innovative HR practices that improve employee experience and organisational effectiveness.
- Stay informed about emerging HR trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM, CIPD, PHR, SPHRi, or an equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Human Resource Manager, Human Resources Business Partner, or in a similar HR leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and HR operations.
- Experience working in a corporate or automotive environment will be an advantage.

- Strong knowledge of labour legislation and HR compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyse HR data and prepare management reports.
