Role Purpose
The Human Resources Specialist will support the effective delivery of HR services across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, and compliance. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth implementation of HR policies and procedures while contributing to a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
Human Resource Administration
- Support the implementation and enforcement of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding, employee orientation, and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee lifecycle experience.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.
- Support hiring managers in identifying staffing needs and managing recruitment activities.
- Facilitate interviews, candidate assessments, and onboarding of successful candidates.
Employee Relations
- Promote positive employee relations and foster a collaborative workplace culture.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Support the handling of grievances and disciplinary processes in line with company policy.
Performance & Learning
- Assist in coordinating performance appraisal and performance management processes.
- Identify employee training and development needs and support learning initiatives.
- Promote employee engagement programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
HR Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Ghana Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651), SSNIT requirements, and other applicable labour regulations.
- Support statutory HR reporting and compliance documentation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and organisational information.
HR Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare periodic HR reports and workforce data to support management decision-making.
- Maintain HR metrics, dashboards, and personnel analytics for monitoring and planning purposes.
- Support data-driven HR decision-making through accurate record keeping and reporting.
Qualifications, Experience & Competencies
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Professional Certification
- Professional certifications such as CIHRM, SHRM, CIPD, or HRCI will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in Human Resources management or administration.
- Experience in the real estate or construction industry will be a strong advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of the Ghana Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651).
- Good understanding of SSNIT regulations and statutory HR compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS/HRMS).
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
