Role Overview

The In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) Officer plays a critical role in ensuring that manufacturing processes consistently meet required quality standards and regulatory guidelines. You will monitor in-process activities, support compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ensure that all documentation and procedures align with established quality systems.


Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and GMP requirements
  • Perform in-process inspections and checks to maintain product quality and consistency
  • Ensure all production activities follow approved procedures and documentation standards
  • Identify deviations, support investigations, and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of quality checks and observations
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

  • HND or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
  • Knowledge or experience in In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) within a manufacturing environment is an advantage
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
