Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Laboratory Supervisor to lead our laboratory operations. The successful candidate will oversee daily lab activities, ensure accurate testing and reporting, and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all laboratory activities and personnel
• Ensure timely and accurate microbiological and physico-chemical testing of samples
• Monitor compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Review and validate laboratory results and reports
• Implement and maintain laboratory quality control systems
• Train, mentor, and support laboratory staff to ensure high performance
• Identify process improvements and enforce corrective actions where necessary
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and usage
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to support operational goals

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field
• Experience in a dairy or ice cream manufacturing company is highly preferred
• Proven experience in laboratory supervision or a similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of laboratory quality systems and food safety standards
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
