Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and trustworthy Loan Officer to identify potential clients, assess loan applications, and manage loan portfolios. The ideal candidate should be confident speaking with people, able to work in the field, and committed to helping individuals access quick and reliable loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients (traders, small business owners, salaried workers, etc.)
• Explain loan products clearly to clients
• Assess loan applications and determine eligibility
• Conduct basic background checks on applicants
• Disburse loans and ensure proper documentation
• Monitor repayments and follow up on overdue clients
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Meet weekly/monthly loan disbursement and recovery targets
• Provide regular reports on field activities

Requirements

• Minimum of SHS or Diploma (Degree is an advantage)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in the field
• Basic understanding of lending/finance (training can be provided)
• Honest, reliable, and goal-oriented
• Previous experience in sales or microfinance is a plus
