Position Overview
Olam Agri Ghana is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our pasta manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in maintenance management within high-capacity production environments and will play a critical role in ensuring optimal performance, equipment reliability, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team to ensure efficient operations and minimal downtime.
Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for pasta production lines, utilities, and supporting equipment.
Optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and equipment performance.
Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets, and cost control measures using SAP.
Maintain and enhance plant utility systems, including boilers, chillers, and compressed air systems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, risk management protocols, and ISO 22000 food safety principles.
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical guidance for equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations, particularly for FAVA pasta lines (highly preferred).
Educational & Professional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
5–7 years of experience in maintenance management within a high-capacity pasta manufacturing or similar environment.
Hands-on experience with FAVA pasta lines is highly preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of OEE, TCO, and equipment optimization.
Proficiency in SAP for maintenance management, spare parts tracking, and cost control.
Good understanding of utility systems including boilers, chillers, and compressed air.
Strong grasp of safety standards, risk management, and ISO 22000 principles.
