Position Summary
Kharis Management Consult Limited is seeking a proactive, skilled, and reliable Maintenance Officer to oversee the upkeep, repair, and continuous functionality of facilities, equipment, and systems under its management.
The successful candidate will ensure all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in line with operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment, systems, and facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve faults efficiently.
- Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and structural systems are in good working condition.
- Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure preventive maintenance is conducted on time.
- Diagnose technical issues and implement effective repair solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and servicing.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workplace maintenance standards.
- Coordinate with external technicians and service providers when necessary.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or systems.
- Report major faults and recommend long-term maintenance improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in maintenance, facility management, or technical support will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of maintenance systems and safety procedures.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
