We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Management-in-Living Teacher to join our academic team and support students in developing essential life management skills, practical knowledge, and positive values.

Job Summary

The Management-in-Living Teacher will plan and deliver effective lessons, guide students in practical life skills, and support their academic and personal development. The successful candidate will create an engaging learning environment that encourages creativity, responsibility, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Management-in-Living lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
• Teach students practical skills related to home management, food and nutrition, clothing and textiles, and family life education.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Evaluate students’ performance and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
• Guide students in developing practical skills and responsible decision-making abilities.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ academic progress and classroom activities.
• Participate in departmental meetings, school activities, and extracurricular programmes.
• Support students’ personal growth through mentorship and guidance.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by school management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum qualification of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Management-in-Living, Home Economics, Education, or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience at the Senior High School level is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the Management-in-Living curriculum and teaching methods.
• Ability to prepare effective lesson plans and assessments.
• Good classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Commitment to professional teaching standards and student development.
