Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager, MEL and Quality to oversee monitoring, evaluation, learning, and quality improvement initiatives. In this role, you will ensure our programs deliver measurable impact, uphold high standards of quality, and support strategic decision-making for continuous improvement across all initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of MEL systems and processes
  • Ensure consistent and rigorous monitoring and evaluation of program activities
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives across projects and health services
  • Analyze and report program data to inform strategic decision-making
  • Develop tools, indicators, and dashboards for program performance tracking
  • Support capacity building of program teams on MEL and quality standards
  • Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the organization
  • Collaborate with partners, stakeholders, and international teams to strengthen program impact

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning within an NGO or health-related field
  • Proven experience in quality improvement work in public health or NGO settings
  • Experience in the eye health sector is preferred
  • Master’s level education preferred, but not mandatory
  • At least 5 years’ experience working with an international organization (NGO or business)
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and across multi-cultural teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
