- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify measurable outcomes and develop data collection tools and methodologies.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Oversee the collection of data through surveys, interviews, field visits, and other relevant methods.
- Analyse and interpret data to provide meaningful insights into the effectiveness of initiatives.
- Utilise statistical methods and software tools to analyse trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
Report Generation:
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports that communicate key findings, performance metrics, and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop visually appealing and easy-to-understand reports that highlight the impact of agribusiness activities.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including agronomy, finance, human resources and operations, to gather relevant information and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with external partners, government agencies, and NGOs to enhance the credibility and scope of M&E activities.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data.
- Conduct regular evaluations of M&E processes and systems, recommending improvements for enhanced efficiency.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, agronomy, or a related field.
- Specialised education or training in production management, farm management, or agricultural economics is a plus.
- Proven experience in a production management role within the agribusiness sector and in-depth understanding of agribusiness production processes.
- Familiarity with the specific crops or livestock relevant to the agribusiness.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Knowledge of and commitment to quality control measures and safety regulations in agricultural production.
- Experience implementing and monitoring adherence to industry standards and certifications.
