We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Nurse Specialist to join our Clinical team and contribute to our mission of excellence in cancer care.
Position Overview
The Oncology Nurse Specialist will deliver expert nursing care to oncology patients, support multidisciplinary collaboration, and promote safe, evidence-based clinical practices. The successful candidate will provide compassionate patient-centered care while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients throughout diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.

Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments in accordance with approved clinical protocols.

Monitor patient responses to treatment and promptly manage side effects or complications.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication management, and supportive care.

Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development.

Support emergency oncology cases when required, including occasional weekend duties.
Educational Requirements & Professional Qualifications

Bachelor of Nursing degree.

Registered with the National Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Approved Oncology Nursing Certification from the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives.

Three to five (3–5) years of experience in Oncology Nursing.
