Role Overview

The Operations Manager will lead and optimize the company’s day-to-day operational activities. This role requires a results-driven professional who can oversee multiple functions, ensure efficient service delivery, and drive continuous improvement across operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Lead and manage daily operations across logistics, technical services, equipment handling, and project execution.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop the operations team to ensure high performance and accountability.

Process Optimization & Strategy

  • Develop and implement operational policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity.

Project & Technical Oversight

  • Provide engineering oversight for technical solutions delivered to clients.
  • Support the preparation of project proposals, technical reports, and risk assessments.

Resource & Workforce Planning

  • Plan manpower requirements and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely execution of projects and tasks.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary operational contact for clients regarding service delivery and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate effectively with vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

Compliance, Safety & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure strict adherence to quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct operational audits and oversee equipment maintenance and compliance.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Prepare periodic operational reports and analyze performance data to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Recommend process improvements, new technologies, and operational enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in operations management within industrial services, engineering, logistics, mining, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project execution and equipment management.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and client-focused environment.
