Key Responsibilities

As the Operations Manager, you will:

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the company’s logistics and courier services.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate operational teams to achieve performance targets.
• Monitor fleet performance and ensure the efficient utilization of vehicles and operational resources.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective service.
• Monitor GPS tracking systems and fleet management tools to improve operational visibility and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage operational budgets and identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining service excellence.
• Analyze operational data and prepare performance reports for management.
• Resolve operational challenges promptly and implement effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in logistics, courier, transportation, warehousing, or delivery operations, including at least two (2) years in a managerial role.
• A valid driver’s licence is an added advantage.
