Role Overview

The Orderly will support the smooth day-to-day operations of the healthcare facility by assisting patients, transporting materials and equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring patient comfort and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the safe movement and transportation of patients within the facility.
• Support healthcare staff with non-clinical duties and operational assistance.
• Transport medical supplies, equipment, and materials between departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas.
• Assist with preparing patient rooms and operational spaces as needed.
• Respond promptly to requests from healthcare staff and patients.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and infection prevention procedures at all times.
• Report maintenance, safety, or operational concerns promptly.
• Support patient comfort and provide courteous assistance when required.
• Contribute to maintaining a respectful and professional healthcare environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2–4 years’ relevant experience in healthcare support services, hospitality, or a similar operational role.
• Experience working within a healthcare environment is an advantage.
