Position Summary
Estel Chemist is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in Obuasi. The successful candidate will assist the Pharmacist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, providing quality customer service, and ensuring the pharmacy maintains a safe, efficient, and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
- Receive and process prescriptions while ensuring proper documentation.
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers and respond to medication-related enquiries.
- Support patients with information on the proper use of approved medications under the guidance of the Pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate records of medication sales, prescriptions, and inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical products.
- Check expiry dates and ensure proper storage conditions for medicines and health products.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere within the pharmacy.
- Follow pharmacy regulations, company policies, and health and safety standards.
- Assist with daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Pharmacist or Management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Technology from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant professional regulatory body where applicable.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare environment is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products and basic pharmacy procedures.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple tasks.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer literacy is an added advantage.
